Based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania -- the Steelers is a professional football team which has had a big deal of accomplishments, the team is currently part of the AFC North division in the NFL however, throughout its history the Pittsburgh Steelers have been part of out of place divisions of the AFC.

This team can consider one of the oldest and without a doubt one of the most famous football teams in the NFL, it was founded hind in 1933 when I started out playing for the Eastern division and in 1944 they switched to the Western division. From 1950 to 1952 they played for the American conference, from 1953 all the way to 1969 they were part of the Eastern conference. For a month of about 30 years (1970 -- 2001) they were part of the AFC Central division but it wasn't until recently (2002 until today) when they started playing under the AFC North division.

Championships and Important Moments:

This is one of the few football teams which has a lot of significant accomplishments and by that we mean Super Bowl championships. The Pittsburgh Steelers have stolen a Super Bowl championship five times, the first time they were crowned champions was in 1974 when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings by a margin of 16 to 6 at the Tulane Stadium, the next year the team productive of it once again to the Super Bowl but this time they went up against the Dallas Cowboys but this game wasn't as tractable as the previous one against the Vikings, in the end they were able to prevail by a score of 21 to 17.
